I have mostly all sims 3 minus 2 and I open the launcher and it says expansions & stuff so I check the games I got so they will play and they wont install??? So what do I do because then I cant even load the things I had bought from the store?

While launching Sims 3 my laptop shuts down
easonsMy laptop shuts down every time I try to launch Sims 3, it never used to do this before and when it first began, I would get at least 30 mins of game play. Now it shuts down before I even make it to my town! I've got several expansion packs World Adventures, Island Paradise, Seasons, Showtime, Pets, Late Night, University, and Generations. Somebody please help

I always get twins, but I only want 1 baby!
I am playing on the Sims 3, I have: Late Night, World Adventures, Pets, Generations, University Life, Showtime, Seasons and High-End Loft Stuff. Thought I would let you know in case it was something to do with the packs...
So my sims have a girl named Tori.
shes a toddler right now.
The mother is pregnant right now and I want 1 baby (don't mind which gender).
She gave birth and had 2 girls....
I don't want twins, especially if they are both girls (not being rude it's cause I want a boy as well)
I got annoyed and exited out without saving.
Then I loaded again and did the same things as before and saved through the pregnancy so I could keep what I had done.
She gave birth again.....IT WAS TWIN GIRLS AGAIN!!!! 😡😡
How do I have just one baby (I have saved and I think she's in her second day)

Please help me asap, I want her to have 1 baby..
I don't mind if I have a boy and a girl. But would prefer for just 1 baby...

Failing to Launch
I recently uninstalled and reinstalled the Sims 3 and now whenever I open the launcher an error message saying "There was an error during startup. Please see the Log for more details. How can I fix this?

The item "The Professional industrial Oven" won't work
As you read here, I bought this item. So obviously, I wanted to test it. First thing I see: There is supposed to have an option called "Prepare a fast meal", supposed to be available when there's not a cook employed. My family is composed with Fiona, a Plumbot and then, Lucrezia, a kid. The thing is, the option isn't even here when there's not a cook. Also, when I want to "Define the menu for this ground", I can click on the plates, choose, but then when it's finish the game consider that I NEVER chose my plate. Why do I say this ? When I click again on "Define the menu", all the plates that I selected aren't selected. I have to click on them again. With the Professional Industrial Oven, I am also supposed to be able to command a plate with the "Menu for the Professional Industrial oven", but wherever I place it, it won't give me the option to command. HOW DO I DO and how does this item work ?..

I find out that my account doesn't exist

"Unrecognized Video Card"
Someone please please help me!!
I just got a new laptop and i downloaded sims 3 via origin, but when i went to play the game it said 'unrecognised graphics card' and everything looked a bit weird. So have been searching for fixes for days but it's all so confusing I don't understand!! Additionally all the tutorials on how to fix it involve a different make of graphics card to mine ( mine is AMD and theirs is Nividia) . i bought a new laptop so sims would run faster so this is very very frustrating!!

EH! soo i just recnetly downloaded the bundle pack for sims and i looked through my messages and it showed 2 registration gifts. and when i go in to them they need to code from the back of the case. but i bought my online. HELLPP -.-

The Sims 3 Points
Today I purchased 2040 Sim Points through Origin for $20. When I went in game, it still said I had zero. I checked my order history, and it said that the points were digitally delivered... What happened? How do I get my points to show up?

Sims 3 Downloading Error
So when I first got my game, it was fine for a year or two, I'm unsure as it's been quite awhile. Until I start to get this error for the launcher and the Sims game would never open. I've done everything I thought of. Uninstalled the game off my computer, downloaded it from Origin. It didn't work. So I uninstalled the game and all my packs and repeated the downloading process. Still didn't work, so I tried with the CD, didn't work. I tried making a new account and using the code both on Origin and the Sims 3 website and it said I had already used the code. Right now I'm in the process of downloading it yet again and I would like to see a solution to this problem.

Thanks so much for getting my account back in (mostly) working order. MMAO is still down but I can navigate everywhere else in the site, watch the commercials and make a purchase. can i get a refund for sims 3 pets download for pc?
I've only had the game for about 4 hours, but I did not enjoy it. Is there anyway I can get a refund? The game didn't show up in the request a refund option.

i have uninstalled and reinstalled three times now i know befor the game started to mess up i did have some bad cc i deleted but after deleting it continued to go down hill so i had to uninstall ... i know dont scold me. the game lets me play but id rather play with some cc and if anyone can tell me a way to tell bad cc from good cc it be appreciated.

Sims3 ads aren't giving points
Usually when I watch ads on sims3 I get simpoints for watching them. The last few days, no points are showing up. I've tried several times each day and still have no points either from the current ads or from the previous ones. This has been happening for 3 days now.

Goth Manor Glitch Sims 3
I have a glitch with Goth Manor
If I click go home the option appears then vanishes
The car pool goes to take them home then the option vanishes and they are left standing outside work
The ghosts no longer appear
I'm not bothered about the ghosts
And I can select go here for them to go home
But what happens when I play on another family - they probably will never go home?
I can't ever seem to get onto live chat with EA
I already have a uniform glitch, and well I spent a lot of time turning Goth Manor into Wuthering Heights
At least for now the glitch is only on Goth Manor and doesn't affect other Sims
Sigh, I do feel kinda sad about it.

Where is the Sims 3 registration code when you download the game from origin?
I downloaded the Sims 3 starter pack through Origin, but when I tried to install it, it asked me to "please enter the Registration code found either in your confirmation email, your game manual/product packaging, or game card." I can't find this code anywhere. I checked my email, I didn't get one. I tried the product code in the games info page, that was also to short. The website said that it should have automatically registered, but it's still asking for the code. What can I do to get the registration code?

Error message,"there was an error during start up" after patch update
Hi, I installed the sims 3 by dvd, after that, I opened the sims 3 launcher. The launcher said,"update is available'. I updated to 1.67 through the launcher. Then suddenly, launcher says,"There was an error during start up". I searched on internet includes Answer HQ pages. I uninstalled the sims 3, then installed CC Cleaner. I've done that as the sims wiki told me. Then I rebooted the computer, installed the sims 3 again. I had no problem with opening the sims 3 launcher before the patch. This time, I downloaded the 1.67 super patcher file and double clicked it. I opened the launcher again, and got the error message back. I un installed the sims 3 and re installed it again. This time, I opened the origin and updated to1.69 version. And after that, I got the error message back.
After that, I opened the live chat in customer support. The 1st adviser asked me to use cc cleaner again. I answered I've done that already but he says it's not cleared entirely, so I tried that again but I still had the problem. An hour later, I opened another live chat. The 2nd adviser asked me to add the origin and my sims 3 game as exception in my anti virus program and I've done this too. I rebooted my computer, but I still have the same problem. I've been fighting with this issue from this morning to this evening but still didn't find a solution. I resumed the live chat again but now it doesn't allow me to chat. Would you help me please?

Can't submit or post to Sims 3 Forums
On The Sims 3 Forums I do no have the blue button to create a new post or thread. I had it only once. I wrote to one of the higher-ups about it through a PM and recieved a canned message - still no way to post a new thread or topic. I was wondering if some automated system had blocked me because I noticed multiple postings of the same comment (I deleted them) but read that sometimes you can be blocked if the moderating system thinks you are trying to increase your posting total by reposting the same post. It was not intentional and when noticed the "extra" posts were deleted.
As a complaint - I find it problematic that when trying to get help on The Sims 3 Forum - about the forum - I have to jump through all these EA hoops and most likely have to come back and try and hunt down any reply for this help.
