the sims 3 downloaded expansion packs to a downloaded game

Hello everyone, recently I downloaded the game 'The Sims 3' 'without money Through the pirate bay software. After a few days when it was working normally, I wanted to download an expansion pack to the game. I downloaded the expansion pack '' generations '' and then I wrote that '' there is no disc! ''. A day or two after the game did not work, I did uninstall and then installed again, and now it works as before. My question is - in case I downloaded the game Sims 3, without buying, can I also download the expansion packs the same way from the computer to the game and the game will work normally? please answers
