Good help is hard to find!

Where do I even start.... Two nights ago, I purchased a digital download of Sims 3:Seasons for my PC. I've done this many times with other expansions and never had a problem. The order processed and cleared my bank account almost immediately, but the game never showed up in my games list.

I have the current version of the Origin client installed and have done every troubleshooting method as suggested by the EA support page (Logging out of/into the Origin application, uninstalling the Origin client both through the Uninstall feature and manually, cleared the Origin caches, etc....).

So my next step was to get in touch with tech support....or at least that's what I've been trying to do for 34 hours now. It appears as though EA has done away with the option to call and speak to a rep on the phone, they haven't responded to my query on Twitter, and I can't find an email option anywhere. So that leaves me with the online chat feature, which should really be the most convenient option, (and it was my first attempt at bringing my issue to attention) but it WILL NOT connect me to a representative. I have tried several times. Some times, it says the wait is less than 5 minutes, others 10-15. Yet all 4 times I've tried to set up a conversation, I have sat for 2+ hours with a window open waiting.

So what am I supposed to do now? HELP me, internets!!!!
